Yes, we do. We have a fantastic, creative in-house art department. Our art department can help you "clean-up" your design, extensively modify your existing artwork, help you choose clip art from our large art library, or create a design from your idea. Whatever your needs are, we will make every effort to make you happy.

How much do you charge for your art services?
|
|
|
|
We charge $25 an hour, with a minimum of a half hour, with charges billed in 30 minute increments. Most orders that are "clean-up", modifying existing art, or clip art designs, generally take a half hour to an hour to complete. Depending on the detail (and suggestive directions from the customer) on creating a design, an average order takes 1 hour to 3 hours to complete. We can offer an estimate cost of art design before creation when you Request a Quote.

What is "camera-ready" artwork?
|
|
|
|
"Camera-ready" artwork means that it is ready to go; requiring no touch-up.
- It is a clean laser printout of at least 600 DPI (Dots Per Inch) or better;
- Clean, crisp copy of artwork in black and white form, or
- A film positive ("PMT" or "SLICK")
| Other requirements of "camera-ready" artwork are:
- It should not be folded or creased,
- Multi-color artwork should be separated (one piece for each color) with
appropriate registration marks,
- Artwork containing halftones must be supplied on vellum or film positives, to size, with a line screen no higher than 45 LPI (Lines Per Inch).
| Artwork may be submitted electronically. Acceptable file formats are Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop.
Computer generated artwork must be saved to a disk formatted for MACINTOSH or DOS on a 3.5" floppy disk, MAC Zip Disk or preferably CD-ROM.

What is digitizing for embroidery?
|
|
|
Digitizing for embroidery entails develping a file that communicates with our embroidery machine and tells the machine where to put each stitch and which color of thread to use and where.

I already have my design on a disk. Does that mean it's already been digitized?
|
|
|
No. Digitizing your design for embroidery is a completely different process than having your design on a computer disk. However, the disk you have, will be used to develop your digitizing file.

Is there a digitizing fee on reorders?

No. If your design doesn't change, you do not pay a digitizing fee on reorders.
